Coaches Corner

Please review the attached schedule (Coach Education Requirements) to determine the coach education requirements for each division.  In particular, please note:

1)  Coach 1- Intro to Hockey Clinic is not a prerequisite to Coach 2- Minor Leagues Clinic;

2)  U7 and U9 Head coaches Coaches are only required to have Coach 1 - Intro to Hockey Clinic;

3)  U11- U18 Coaches are only required to have Coach 2 -Minor Leagues Clinic;

4)  U7 and U9  Head Coaches returning this season that already have "Coach 2 - Minor Leagues Clinic" from last year or earlier are not required to take "Coach 1 - Intro to Hockey Clinic";

5)  New U7 and U9 Head Coaches who only take Coach 2 - Minor Leagues Clinic THIS year will not meet the requirements as a Head Coach as listed in the table. 

6) U11- U18 Coaches are required to have "Intro to Principles of Checking" regardless of the level the team is playing. This included non contact leagues.
