Vice President

The Vice President supports the President and ensures the smooth operation of the High Country Minor Hockey Association (HCMHA). Key responsibilities include:

  • Presidential Authority: Assume all powers and duties of the President in their absence or inability to act.

  • Town Liaison: Attend open meetings of the Town of Black Diamond Recreation Board.

  • Committee Oversight: Assist in supervising any committees established by the Board of Directors during the hockey season.

  • Ice Management: Oversee the Ice Scheduler and manage ice rental agreements, including confirmation and negotiation of annual contracts with the arena.

  • Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the Fundraising Coordinator to assist in planning and executing fundraising activities.

  • Website Administration: Maintain and update the Association’s website as needed.

  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with CAHL to manage team rosters and related administrative requirements.

  • Term of Office: Serves a 2-year term, with the position becoming available in even-numbered years.
